Calling all Linsner art fans! Here is a beautiful 11x17 fully painted published
cover by Joseph Michael Linsner! It doesn’t get much better than this! This
was originally commissioned by Topps Comics for their 1995 Dracula
Chronicles #1 cover. Mr. Linsner has always said that Topps provided him a
lot of editorial freedom when creating these covers, thus making them some of
his personal favorite cover pieces. (He even published them in his 2002
retrospective: The Art Of Joseph Michael Linsner.)
The color and detail on this painting in person has to be seen to be believed.
The “bloody” highlights of this piece literally jump out at you! This piece has it
all for you old school CFD, and Linsner fans, it has horror, and a hot little
vampire babe! This piece was lovingly rendered using JML’s mixed media
technique including airbrush, acrylic, colored pencil, and markers. Every inch
of this huge 11 x 17 piece is painted! To top it off this piece has a hidden
element that makes it even more desirable to a true Linsner collector! JML
cleverly added his own Vampire creation Esque hidden in the background! See
that little Vampire guy between that hot Linsner babe, and the impaled Human
head? Yeah that’s Esque!
This is a great example of JML's early work. Don’t let this rare opportunity to
own a published, fully painted Linsner cover get away!
