Felipe Echevarria is an American artist working in dual arenas of fine art,
and comics and graphic novels. Currently, his best known works are the
watercolor comics adaptation of the Hitchcock film PSYCHO, the
underground Sandman Death paintings collection entitled ANKH, the
highly original and exotic Spearwomen sketchbook, and his incorporation
of spirituality and metaphysics in both his fine art and many of his
upcoming comic art works.
In the works is the hand-painted graphic novel epic Death From Above. It
will first be designed as a fully interactive application for the iPad through
SimulatedPeople.com. Partly factual and partly a personal expression,
Death From Above will reveal how to become truly happy in this life
through coming to terms with one's own mortality.
